  • Certified Organic

    Being certified organic requires the use of natural minerals to ward off harmful pests.

  • Flowers Before Fruit

    Did you know that coffee trees flower before they produce their cherries? Inside each cherry are the seeds or "beans" we roast to make coffee.

  • Hand Picked!

    Coffee harvest typically happens once per season and lasts about 3 months. All cherries are picked by hand once they are ripe.

  • Drying Process

    Once the beans are pulped, it's all about the drying process. Cooperatives like Triunfo lay beans out on concrete pads, other use screen tables.

  • Green Beans

    A ton of work goes into the production of certified organic coffee, so a picture like this must be blissful for the 500 farmer who are members of the Triunfo Verde co-op.
