Details: Cooperative Coffees, which Bongo is a founding member of, began working with Permata Gayo in 2009. Since then this collection of coffee growers in Southeast Asia, scattered across 36 villages, each with its own coffee processing center, has made incredible strides in strengthening their internal structures and quality control. Permata Gayo — with a characteristic quality profile of medium acidity and sweet, earthy flavors — has quickly become an important partner for us.
