South American decaf coffee that produces a well-balanced cup with notes of dried fruit and honey.
Our decaf is made using a “Mountain Water Process,” which requires about 15 hours to remove caffeine without the use of chemical solvents. As with all of our coffees, it is 100% organically grown producing a difference you can taste.
The hard green coffee beans are softened and expanded by soaking them in water. Caffeine is extracted using a water-based solution saturated with solubles from the bean. Essentially elements of the green beans are relied on to make the coffee 99.9% caffeine free.
