Meet our Coffee Farmers
Bongo Java Roasting Co. proudly expands the definition of quality to include factors of how the coffee was grown and purchased to the important issue of taste. Thus, all of our coffee is organic and is bought from small-farmer producer groups at or above the Fair Trade price.
Coffee is grown in some of the poorest countries in the world. We believe strongly in buying from small-farmer groups. This helps individuals buy land and organizations to develop programs and systems to help themselves.
We proudly include profiles of the farmers and the coops we buy from. Their stories are simply amazing and inspiring.
